For Immediate Release – March 15, 2017 – McCall’s Studio Moves and Expands to Include Historic Gallery in Manassas, VA – Approaching the 29th year in business helping clients throughout the nation, McCall Design Studio, Visual Communications (DMVISUAL) LLC is excited to have new space to expand and grow. DMVISUAL has expanded to include her other services and talents under the division of McCall Studio Gallery. “This space is a wonderful opportunity to further aid community through educational history exhibit tours of 1920s on, continued design and brand communications, illustration, fine art and community events. It brings together so much of what I have worked for in my career.”
McCall has served as consultant across our country in local, regional, and national outreach to national nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, businesses, the military and military communities. In our community she also has been an active member of the Prince William Chamber since July 2011, Charter Founding Member, Ambassador/Mentor since September 2011, and Committee Member of the AAF-DC. McCall founded her company in 1988 with a desire to use her creativity for good, working for advertising and design agencies of Metro Philadelphia and then built her expertise working direct contract jobs for large organizations. She has been an artist since 1980, showing in many exhibits. She has been trained and working in much of the diverse arts since a young age.
McCall was responsible for visual brand identity for one of the largest American Red Cross Chapters in
the nation for over a decade. In her many roles she was sole staff artist, art director/production manager, communicator leading the corporate identity design for American Red Cross Chapter and Blood Region in Philadelphia, directly serving local, regional, and later division, and national clients through the years. She built much of her customer service, marketing and communications expertise; and worked on team event planning and PR ambassador responsibilities, archive exhibits, and other communications. McCall’s business has continued consultant creative partner for American Red Cross for over another decade, and into this new decade.
Later, as a military spouse-owned business, she relocated her business to many states and her business served those military and local communities. She also led creative for the American Advertising Federation and designed for educational institutions. She was educated at RISD, Moore College of Art & Design and in Rome, Italy through her BFA, Temple University Tyler School of Art Degree. As a Harvard University/AIGA national selected design leader, and executive program graduate, she continued her education in MA. McCall has served military communities on active duty community service for a total of 8 years, with the 9th year creating an award-winning multimedia campaign with her board of directors, and event and website branding and development through the years, that served the community that serves worldwide. She has adjunct taught Higher Education Visual Communications courses at the Alexandria Campus Communication Design Program at NOVA in the DC Area to students from diverse backgrounds. At the end of 2013, she completed her continued 4.5 years U.S. NAVY CEC Military Community brand with maintaining the new websites and social media public relation communications, and crisis communications for the community during the Washington Navy Yard incident, DC in September 2013. She has also established brand with new entrepreneurs in our community.
Together we celebrate! McCall is thankful for supporters along the way that had faith to trust her with responsibility at a young age, and throughout her career, giving her the opportunity to develop her unique vision, own methods and expertise. McCall’s education and early work experience instilled high standards of excellence. Communication team members through the years influenced her, and many times
together they collaborated with synergy.
March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day, 2017, McCall celebrates 29 years at new location, 9409 Battle St., and she is excited to celebrate in our community.
